How to Buy Last Minute Jersey Boys tickets in New York City

I just got off the phone with Karen from upstate New York. Karen has been searching the Internet for hours today trying to obtain tickets for Jersey Boys at the August Wilson Theater for this Saturday November 21, 2009. The 2pm performance.

The show opened on Broadway in November of 2005 and won several Tony Awards including Best Musical for 2006. It tells the very interesting story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons musical band. The 4 band members actually each tell their some of the story all throughout this great show, which has excellent direction by Des McAnuff. The music is by Bob Gaudio who was the Four Seasons musical writer for most of their songs. The lyrics are by their record producer Bob Crewe. Jersey Boys on Broadway has a fantastic book written by Marshall Brickman and Rich Elice. The running time is 2 and 1/2 hours long and the show plays every day but Mondays most weeks.

The show features the great music of the time like "Sherry", "Walk Like A Man", "Big Girls Don't Cry", "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" and about 20 others. It's truly great music and an excellent piece of theater.
